Great job scouts. Over 700 trees collected. All done safely, with family unit help, and done early. This was a well-planned and executed event and when combined with the good weather, it was the best run event ever. There are so many to thank and I will miss so many, but I’m very grateful. Mrs. Sprague, Mr. Callahan, Mr. Pautler, and Mrs. McCloud jumped to the top of the many thanks that are needed. But the list really goes on to each and every scout, youth group member, and the families who contributed their time and effort. Also, don’t forget the citizens of Concord for supporting our efforts. It was great to witness so many scouts out into the community doing their good deeds.
Last Tuesday we met at Emerson and we have been fortunate with a mild winter. Please continue to work on your knots in preparation for the Klondike on Saturday 1/23/2021 at Camp Acton. PLC: New and existing leaders will meet on Monday for our PLC meeting - 1/18/21 from 6-7pm. Zoom Link - https://us02web.zoom.us/j/89821443447?pwd=R3I2RzNMNlpjaTlFSURzNndZNTV6QT09 Passcode: PLC We expect all scouts to be present with webcam and audio for this to be an effective meeting to plan the Klondike and present goals for each leader. Next week we will do more preparation for the Klondike at the Tuesday meeting. Good work and many thanks again for the Christmas Tree pickup. Be sure to thank your parents for the support they provide to scouting and please continue to live the Scout Law daily.
