Troop 132 Food Drove. Remember, tomorrow is pick up and consolidation day. Just to be clear, track who you left the flyers with. Be ready to pick up tomorrow, 6/13/2020 from 9-10 AM. Then you have to arrange with your patrol leader, Cameron, Ben, and Lincoln, to collect your collection. The PL will consolidate the food for delivery to Open Table Maynard on Tuesday. This helps Open Table by having fewer drop off’s and helps our community at large.
Week in Scouting Recap
Another excellent meeting this past Tuesday. Memorial Day presentation by Lucas, Knot Kahoot by Ben, and JJ presented on how our Troop works – elected and appointed positions. Each scout who holds a position of responsibility described what they do for the benefit of the entire Troop.
Congratulations to Charlie Stone for earning First Class!
Scavenger Hunt was a big success. Great job Lincoln for doing this and all those who took part. Five Guy Gift Certificates valued at $10 were awarded to Grady, Ben, Lincoln, and Lucien.
Remember 6/23 is our virtual court of honor. Please make sure you review the award preview attachment that was provided at the beginning of this email.
Blue Cards and other items need Sign Off
I have an old milk box (back in the days with milkmen) on my front steps so that we can exchange blue cards and other signatures. This will keep my mailman happy because he didn’t like seeing blue cards in the mailbox. So if you need to drop off anything, please use this box and I’ll sign as needed. Also, email or text me (remember to copy another adult).
PLC on Monday and we need to plan for the summer. Coming up we have elections and re-appointments for positions. So run for SPL, PL, and express your interest in new challenges. Reading merit badge continues.
The Troop is moving ahead and good scouting is being done. You should all be proud.
