A cold Klondike was held at Camp Acton 1/23/2021 with temperatures never getting out of the 20’s. The sky was clear and my hats off to all the great patrol cooking demonstrations with dutch ovens. This was spectacular. Cheesecakes, vanilla cake, pineapple upside-down cake, and Churros. Yes! That is right. This was after the scouts started fires, practices first aid, and tied knots. It was great to have a meal before the great Klondike Race. Congratulations to Charlies’ patrol for bringing the golden spatula award home. Well done scouts. You also left the grounds better than they were before and no trace. Congratulations to Mr. Rzepczynski who scored highest on ax and knife throwing hitting 5 out of 6 throws.
Our past Tuesday night meeting was a good snowy hike in the Town Forest.
