Orientation Session for New Scouts and Their Parents

posted Oct 12, 2009, 1:15 PM by Committee Chair ‎(Curtis Gekle)‎
Tuesday, October 13th at 6:30 (before the troop meeting) we'll be having a new scout's parents info/orientation session.   The intent is that new scouts (and potential new scouts) come along with 1 or 2 parents. Pizza will be provided in attempt to lesson the burden on your busy schedules.

This meeting is recommended even if your son has been already actively participating this year, was a Cub Scout, or was in another Boy Scout troop; there are significant differences between the Boy Scout and Cub Scout programs and different troops do things differently.  The material will greatly aid your son's scouting enjoyment/success.

Even if you and your son have not yet decided whether to join scouting or not, this is a good meeting to attend to get an overview of the program.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions!
