Saturday, November 7, 2009, This year the Scouters from Boston Minuteman Council, Cape and Islands Council, Old Colony Council, and Yankee Clipper Council are all working together to make the University of Scouting bigger and better than before. It will be an exciting day of Scouting camaraderie and learning. We are planning another midway to expand your horizons of opportunity for all of the Scouting programs. We want to make the Eastern Massachusetts Scouting University an important part of your Scouting program by bringing you new resources and new ideas. This is a fabulous opportunity to make your Scouting program better for your Scouts and easier for you. We are planning another exciting day of Scouting camaraderie and learning. We hope for a bigger and better midway to expand our horizons of opportunities for our Scouting programs. As always the University is an essential part of annual training requirements for Cub Scout Leaders. NOVEMBER 7, 2009 Greater Lawrence Technical High School 9:00am-4:30pm We hope to make the University of Scouting an important part of your Scouting program by bringing you new resources and new ideas. This is a fabulous opportunity to make your Scouting program better for your Scouts and easier for you. The University of Scouting has brought many hundreds of us together for a fun-filled day of Scouting. We brought in experts from the National Park Service, the National Forest Service, the state Department of Conservation and Recreation, and many outfitters and “camp-in” sponsors, as well as experts from the community.
